Paul F Hildebrandt

Paul F. Hildebrandt, 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at Kingston Care Center. He was born April 17 1925 in Fort Wayne to the late William and K. Nona (Killworth) Hildebrandt. As a Purple Heart recipient, Paul served in the U. S. Navy during WWII, stationed in the South Pacific. He was a member of Anthony Wayne Church of God, American Legion Post 241, and the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his children, Diana Smith of Fort Wayne and Michael (Deb) Hildebrandt of Hurst, TX; grandchildren, Donald (Sheri) Smith of Columbia City and Lori Hildebrandt of Plano, TX; and great grandson Ryan (Miranda) Smith of Columbia City. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly (Myers) Hildebrandt. Funeral will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Preferred Memorials may be made to Anthony Wayne Church of God and/or the Wounded Warrior Project. .
