We have known Barry for many years so having the opportunity to meet his dad was so special. Barry always talked so highly of him. When I first had the privilege of meeting him, my first thought was what a true gentleman he was, We would sit with him when Barry was performing and I even got him to dance with me a few times. He would talk about his wife with such love. I am so happy that Barry and Paul came to our home for a homecooked Italian dinner. Not easy cooking for a chef!!! It was a wonderful evening and seeing the love and admiration they had for each other made it more special. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we were not able to see him but the memories of spending time with him are forever etched in my brain. Such a kind, warm human being. Thanks , Paul, for sharing a very small part of your life with me.

Thank you barry for introducing your dad to me. Hes raised a good family! I know he was a amazing husband to your mother. That's what true love really looks like! Miss you Paul, you and Alice were the greatest neighbors ever. Enjoyed the times when you would open your garage door playing Jazz and we would sit and talk about good things. Honored to be your friend.

I've known Uncle Paul/Uncle Boogie literally my whole life. He was always funny, kind and caring. Sometimes he was brutally honest but never, ever mean. He was the ultimate fighter but he can rest now in God's loving arms. Uncle Paul was a Good man and I will miss him with my whole heart❣

Paul and Alice had such a love story for the ages. The picture of your parents shortly before Alice passed away, was truly an inspiration and such an expression of their love. Paul will be so missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Many hugs and prayers for all at the loss of this great man.

My Uncle Boogie was the best. I used to love going to Ft Wayne when I was kid and visit him and Aunt Alice along with my cousins. I always had the best of times. My favorite times were at the Minniefield family reunions. I used to love hanging around listening to Uncle Boogie tell stories about the family from the good ole days. He was always the life of the party. He was and will continue to be greatly loved. He now joins our ancestors where he along with the others will guide and support us along our life journey. Until we meet again Uncle Boogie. I love you!
