Paul D. Waites, 72, passed away on August 6, 2018. He was born in Kingsport, TN, on April 18, 1946 the son of the late James Paul and Laura Waites of Warsaw IN.Paul served in the Army until he was honorably discharged in 1968. He worked at Zimmer INC in Quality Control for 28 years until his retirement. Paul was married to Marion E. Poling for 18 years until her passing in 1999. Paul was very involved with church, attending New Hope Worship Center where he served as a Deacon and later attended Abundant Life. Paul generously and selflessly gave to others, caring for everyone that crossed his path. He was a gentle man with a big heart.Surviving are his siblings; Brenda Brandon, Dale Waites, Dudley (Andrea) Waites, Dewey (Theresa) Waites. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Waites.Viewing will be held Thursday, August 16 6- 8pm, and Friday August 17th at 9:30-11:30, with funeral services after the Friday viewing. D.O.
