

Paula Lee Wade, 73, passed away on June 16, 2026. Born in Wolf Lake, Indiana, on August 27, 1952, to the late Howard Frances and Lois Pauline (Richardson) Bair, Paula was well beloved.
She was a 1970 graduate of Central Noble High School, and later earned an Associate’s Degree at Indiana Business College. Paula was an independent and strong-willed woman who loved her family fiercely. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening. Her garden was always vibrant and thriving with plants of all kinds. She also enjoyed baking. Her grandchildren will always lovingly remember the time spent baking Christmas cookies with grandma every holiday season. Crossword puzzles and sudoku also entertained Paula in her free time. Beyond all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She always supported her grandchildren and was present for their extracurriculars. Her friends and family will dearly miss Paula.
Paula is survived by her children, Megan (Ron) Dawson and Aaron (Julie) Wade; grandchildren, Austin Wade, Jace Wade, Wade Adair, Jaron Wade, Bella Dawson, Ashton Wade, Jeremiah Wade, and Deacon Dawson; great-grandchildren, Atlas Wade and Melody Wade; and her sister, Martha Gillam. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lois Bair; and siblings, Frances “Francie” Gillam and Richard Bair.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1PM-3PM at Fairview Fellowship Church 615 Professional Way, Kendallville, Indiana, 46755, with a memorial service taking place at 2:30PM. If you would like to order flowers, please have them delivered to the church by 12PM on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made in Paula’s honor to the Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana and to Stillwater Hospice.
