Peggy J. Traxel

Peggy J. TRAXEL, age 87, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Chapman Place Retirement Community. Peggy was born September 17, 1934 in Bentonville, Arkansas to the parentage of Fred and Nora Bolain who preceded her in death. She was co-owner of W. R.Traxel Service with her beloved William Ray Traxel until his retirement in 2001. She worked at Woolworths and Bell Telephone but was mostly focused on her family, whom she loved very much. Peggy's memory will live on in her children Darrell (Catherine) Traxel, daughter Gaye Lynn (Steven) Beebe, and her grandsons Jeremy, Blake, Erik, and Chase. Also preceding her in death was her beloved William Ray and her son Alan Traxel.

A visitation for Peggy will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
