Penelope Ann Blattman, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away on July 28, 2022. Born in Canton, OH, she worked as an electronic board inspector at Boeing in Dallas, then moved to Indiana.
Penny was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who had a heart of gold. She loved her animals and enjoyed playing games. Her hobbies were ceramics, crocheting, knitting and collecting carnival glass and various items. She was a long-time member at TOPS, where she made many dear friends.
Surviving are her brother, John (Annabella) Thomas of Maryland; sons, David (Pamela) Blattman of Indiana, James (Edith) Blattman of Texas; daughters, Susan (Charles) Devereaux of Ohio, Debra (Erik) Budrevich of Indiana, Tina (Gene) of Texas; grandchildren, Chuck, Dan, David Alan, Forrest, Crystal, Christina, Justin, Bianca, Veronica, Brittnie, Angeline; great grandchildren, Kayla, Cassie, Dana, Juliet, Jensen, Dexter, Xander, Anastasia, Deshon; great-great grandchildren, Abigail, Karter, Aiden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Blattman in 2010 and her mother, Gladys Thomas in 2009.
Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Friday, August 5, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, with visitation from 12-2pm. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Blattman family at www.mccombandsons.com
