Beyond Blessed To Have Met and Become Friends with Pete and Deb during the building of their Dream home in Arrowhead Shores. This was not the easiest “dream home build” but through a common thread of faith, I was Blessed to be part of their experience, friendship and Prayer. Being one of the few constant figures during this process , Pete nicked named me “Kal Gal” and I will hold the sound of that name forever dear in my heart! Pete was a Sweet, Gentle and Giving Soul with a Love for others and making a difference in the world . He Loved his son, Peter & wife Deb more than anything and lit up every time he spoke their names or referenced the special details in their home build he wanted to make sure was special just for them. During the building process, I enjoyed the pictures he would send of himself Sitting at the campfire in the middle of heavy snow enjoying his view, sightings capturing eagles flying overhead and text messages in the middle of the night to wake up and see the northern lights or simple hand waves as he passed by speeding in his boat. His Smile was infectious and his Spirit even more so. Our last date together was enjoyed July 30th at the Young Americans dinner show. Pete always offered up an invite for an extra ticket or a date to enjoy music at his campfire. He was such a Special Guy!! His last text was Oct. 8th when he asked for prayer as he was heading into the hospital. I Prayed and will continue to Pray for His Legacy, Deb , Peter and all those who were touched by knowing such an Amazing Man! Rest In Peace Pete ! Miss Your Smile, Joyful Attitude and Zest for Life!

I’ve starred at this screen all day..... what can I say in less than 2k?
“Thank you” is the two words that mean the most.
I was only blessed fir a sort time time know you. An instant brothership was formed out of a half hour and some really solid jokes lead to an impromptu set down for a couple beers and my life was never the same afterwards. In that moment I met a man that I could “talk” to. And I mean really really talk. Your love for your wife and son was such an endearing statement when you talked. And that my friend meant the world to me. To see your smile. Hear your laugh and that look in your eyes when you were saying something that meant something to you.
To be hard at work with my head down working on a board and to first smell your Cologne before I knew you were in the building brought an instant smile to my face cause I knew the time I was about to have was going to be filled with good feelings ,love and a solid “I needed that” talk. No man in my life has ever been there for me the way you were Pete. God bless you. God bless Barb and little Pete. If either of them need ANYTHING they can call me and I’d be blessed, honored and beyond humbled to help however I can.
Peace out brother! I’ll see ya when I see ya 😜🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽

Thoughtful, fun-loving, gregarious, ambitious, passionate, and generous are just a few words we can think of to describe Pete. Pete had an energy that was so fun to be around and we’re going to miss him dearly. Even though we’ve only known Pete for a few years, we consider ourselves very lucky to have crossed paths and to be friends.

Sending love and our deepest condolences,

Ben and Renee
