Philip "Phil" Summers, 73, of Fort Wayne passed away on April 30, 2026. He was born on October 7, 1952 in South Bend, Indiana, son of the late George and Janet (Jennings) Summers. Phil was a member of VFW Post 1421 and the Heartland Pyrotechnics. He had a passion for anything fireworks, whether it was watching them, building them, or selling them. Phil is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diana Summers; son, Matthew Summers; daughters, Erin and Courtney Summers; grandchildren, Alexander, Zachary, and Pandora Summers; and his sister, Sandra (Mary) Summers. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
