Phillip W. “Phil” Richardson, 79, of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. He was born on September 16, 1936, a son of the late Cleon and Elizabeth (Gilbert) Richardson. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked at and retired from Dana Corp. after 38 years. Surviving family include his sons, David, Mark, and Steven Richardson; granddaughters, Nicole and Crystal; great granddaughters, Riana and Joslyn; and sister, Janice (Russ) Sorgen. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his son, John Edward Richardson; a sister, Phyllis Levy; special friend, Tressa Craddock; and former spouse, Sharon K. Richardson. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Ossian.
