PHYLLIS ANN DAVIS, 90, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at her home with her family by her side. Born Feb. 1, 1924, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Hoopengardner) Smith. She worked at Cover-All Rental for over 20 years from which she retired. She enjoyed reading, embroidery and cooking. "She loved being a mother and grandmother and will be missed by all." She is survived by her daughters, Suzette (Dan) Courtney of Bluffton, Ind. and Colette (David) Starks of Fort Wayne; son, Paul (Kate) Davis of Uncasville, Conn.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husband, William I. Davis; and great-grandson, Zachariah Perry.
