Phyllis A. Ulman-Evard, 77 of Fort Wayne, died on February 6, 2012. She was born to the late Bernard and Hilda Ulman, on June 28, 1934. She worked for Super Market Service Corp. for 10 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 499. She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Scott) Reader; sons, Greg (Marlene) Hastreiter and Steve Evard; step-son, Ralph Evard; sister, Marlene (Bill) Weaver; brother, Gerald (Phyllis) Ulman; longtime friend and companion, Bob Frederick; grandchildren, Dawn, Kim, B.J., Dan, Shayla, Keith and Rachel; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Evard; daughter, Sandee Owen; step-daughter, Rose McFarland; and step-son, Hank Evard. Calling will be at the 1327 Wells Street, C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 7 pm Thursday. Services will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 am with calling 1 hour prior. Memorials to the Thomas EdisonTraining Center.
