Phyllis A. Fitzgerald, 96, went home to the Lord on June 14, 2023. She was a lifetime resident of Fort Wayne. Phyllis was born November 18, 1926, the daughter of David and Constance Brames. She graduated from South Side High School and attended the University of Michigan. Phyllis was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where for many years she was an active member of the parish’s prayer chain and other groups.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Daniel P. Fitzgerald of Burbank, CA; Dennis M. Fitzgerald of Fort Wayne, IN; Diane M. Fitzgerald of Bridgman, MI; Denise A. (Robert) Hanley of Indianapolis, IN; Danette (Blas) Fitzgerald Rodriguez of Huntertown, IN; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William F. Fitzgerald in 2010 and her brother, Donald
C. Brames.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior at the church.
