Phyllis Harden,88, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was born on March 20, 1937 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter of the late Joseph Petro and Velma (Sprot) Bickel. Phyllis worked for Tristate microfilm company for several years. She enjoyed going to the Kingdom Hall to worship and spending time with her family. Phyllis was a phenomenal cook and baker, she took great pride in having a spotless home. Phyllis is survived by her children, Shelley (Ronald) Chaney, Tonnya (Edgar) Simmerman, Dannell Hamilton, Scott Harden, and Jerry (Eve) Harden; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Tony Harden; and her previous spouse, Danny Harden.Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
