Phyllis Joan (Joie) Mason of Fort Wayne, IN at age 96 passed away on April 15, 2023. Born Albion Indiana August 27, 1926, she was one of 4 daughters affectionately named the Butler Girls by her Mother Ruth Fulk Butler and Father Ford Butler. Her life was always focused on family and her farm community near Sweet Church / Skinner Lake area. She is survived by her Daughter's Cheryl Ely Garret, IN & Jil Longley Kendallville, IN along with her Son Stan Mason (Phyllis Roddy Mason) Edwardsburg, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Mason and her Son Clark Mason. Her title was known as Grandma Joie to many, in and outside of her family with 10 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.
A memorial will be held in her honor at Sweet Community Center in the future.
