Rachel (Reddin) Ross, 91, of Fort Wayne, died on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Golden Years Homestead. Born March 30, 1925 in Allen County, she was a daughter of the late Harrison and Lillian (Milligan) Reddin. She graduated in 1943 from East Union Center High School and attended Cincinnati Bible Seminary (Cincinnati Christian University). She was employed with Mutual Security Life Ins. Co. (formerly Brotherhood Mutual) for 39 years, from which she retired in 1989. She married the late Benjamin Ross on May 6, 1946. She was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ and the Golden Years Homestead-Auxiliary. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by eight siblings. Funeral Service will be 11:00am on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Jim Platner officiating. Entombment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Golden Years Homestead.
