He attended South Side High School, and served his country with the United States Army. Marrying his best friend, Joyce Ann (Robinson) Moore, on February 24, 1984, the two spent many treasured years togethers before her passing in 2023. Rick loved cars, working as a freelance mechanic and building model cars in his free time. He leaves behind many cherished memories full of smiles and laughters.
Rick is survived by his children, Rick Moore, Tonya (Ernie) Walker, Tamra (Mike) McClain, Tiffany (Fritz) David, Ruthie (Dan) Dalman, and Windell Moore; 22 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ronald Moore and Ruth (Dean) Roney. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Moore; parents, Robert Francis and Alice Marie Moore; siblings, Eugene Schlagel, William “Bill” Schlagel, and Robert “Bob” Moore; and great-grandson, Aiden Kitson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
