Randy M. Collins passed away on November 9, 2025. He was born on October 4, 1954, to the late June E. Collins. Randy and his mother enjoyed many common interests and shared a strong bond that shaped the person he became.
A 1973 graduate of South Side High School, Randy went on to work for UPS for 30 years before retiring to enjoy 21 wonderful years of well-earned relaxation.
In 1979, Randy married Ann (Daugherty) Collins, and together they raised three children. He carried forward the love and values his mother taught him—always a supportive and devoted father, cheering his kids through every school event, sport, and milestone.
Randy loved fishing, the Cubs, all dogs, rigging things just enough to work but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially summer days by the pool and Super Sundays.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; his children, Russell (Catherine) Collins, Aaron (Brittney) Collins, and Emily (Mark) Hartman, all of Fort Wayne; and his grandchildren, Henry, Fisher, Patrick, Elouise, and Adelaide. He was also preceded in death by his in-laws, Jack and Louise Daugherty.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819.
