Ray is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Benton, his children: Casey Rae, Michael Young, Demetric, Jaguar, Jonny and Ziggy Massie, all of Elkhart. Grandchildren: Dylan, Calvin, Masin, Cole, Gemma, Cian, Coen, Noah, Jonah, Apollo and great grandchild sweet Jack. Sisters Linda McKenzie and Brenda Berry.
He was preceded into heaven by his parents Ray and Mary Massie.
Ray was a tough as nails, hard working carpenter, artist and craftsman who worked all across the US. He was man of a million stories who loved his friends and family and could always see the lesson in things. Music and Rock n roll was his soul!!!
There will be a celebration of life this coming summer.
