RAYMOND J. LULEY, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. He was born June 30, 1927 the son of the late Raymond E. Luley and Mary T. Luley. He worked 44 years at Phelps Dodge and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Surviving are his daughters, Christine Luley, Mary Ann Barwiler, and Kathleen Leiner; sons, Michael and Daniel Luley; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; and his dog and best buddy, Sparky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan M. Luley; and siblings, Mary T. Hartman and James E. Luley. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at Queen of Angels, with calling one hour prior. Father Christopher Smith officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with a Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial at Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to the American if Heart Assoc. or Diabetes Assoc.
