Raymond Scheumann, 89, World War II veteran, born in Hoagland, IN and a resident of Ft. Wayne, IN died on July 25, 2012 at Redstone Highlands in Latrobe, PA. Family and friends will remember Ray as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Ray was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and managed Koehlinger’s Schwinn Cyclery on S. Anthony Blvd. Surviving are his three children and their spouses: Steven and Inge Scheumann of Sierra Vista, AZ, Stanley and Donna Scheumann of Wenatchee, WA, and Sandra and Gary Quinlivan of Latrobe, PA; and four grandchildren: Patrick, Vanessa, Timothy, and Amy. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and stillborn daughter. The funeral service is 11:00 am Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 S. Anthony Blvd. with calling one hour prior. Visitation is 2-5 pm Sunday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials are to Wyneken Memorial Lutheran School.
