Rebecca J. "Becky" (Faulkner) Antoniuk

Rebecca was born on September 6, 1946 to the late Edna M. and Joseph T. Faulkner, Jr.. Becky spent most of her life in Fort Wayne, Indiana with a few formative years in Washington, Illinois. She graduated from North Side High School in 1964.

On August 19, 1967, Rebecca exchanged marriage vows with Ronald J. Antoniuk. As newlyweds, they enjoyed over a year in Southern California. They returned to Fort Wayne to start their family and raise their children. Becky and Ron shared nearly 30 years together before his unexpected passing in May, 1997.

Through the years, Rebecca faced many tough times. It was her Lutheran faith and her family she looked to for strength. Every morning, Becky always took a moment to read a verse from her "Daily Bread" she could reflect on all day. Her faith was quiet and personal, and it ran deep and strong. Becky put her whole heart into her many roles in life; daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother.

Becky found her joy in simple ways by caring for her home, planting flowers, growing tomatoes, taking walks around her neighborhood, and watching birds and animals at her feeders. Rebecca was also an avid reader, loving many adventures in all those pages.

Rebecca is survived by her son, Jon (Julia) Antoniuk of Bloomington, Illinois; daughter, Kara (Steve) Powner of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Victoria Schmidt of Fort Wayne; and in-laws, Richard and Elinor Antoniuk of Northampton, Pennsylvania. Additionally, she leaves behind four grandchildren, Levi Antoniuk, Nadia Antoniuk, Stephen Powner, and Mary Powner; and several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in eternal life were her infant son, Adam; son, Jeff; and brother, Tom Faulkner

A funeral service will be 12:00 pm on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
