Rebecca Ann Paulsen

Rebecca Ann Paulsen,69, mother, wife, Granny, friend, left us with heavy hearts, on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Fort Wayne. She was born August 2, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky and happily raised by the late Elmer and Doris Lankenau, with brothers Larry and Timothy. Her passion in life was being Granny, the beach, her gardens, music, parties, her animals and her family. She was a member and volunteer at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by her three children Joel (Angie) McPheeters of Laotto, Lis McPheeters and Seth (Christena) McPheeters, both of Fort Wayne, four grandchildren, who she loved very much, Emma, Cale, Lucy and June. She will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by husband, Bob Paulsen and daughter Paula Ann. Funeral service is 11:00 am, Friday, July 20, 2018 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church 917 W Jefferson Blvd with Pastor Thomas Eggold officiating, with calling one hour prior. Calling also Thursday 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave Ft Wayne, Indiana, Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Family and friends are encouraged to wear flip flops to the visitation and funeral service. Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
