She attended South Side High School and earned her diploma.
Renee was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She took great pride in caring for her family and upkeep of her home. Renee was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking for her family. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, going to garage sales, flea markets and thrift shopping.
She is survived by her husband George Surine, sons, Larry Surine, Don (Connie Chapman) Surine all of Fort Wayne, IN, grandchildren, Devin (Kalah) and Alex Surine, and Mariah Coventry.
Renee was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Gard, brother, Bruce Bogner, and a grandson, Cullen Surine.
Private services will be held at a later date.
