Revelia Vivian Grant of Fort Wayne, Indiana was age 78 when she passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, September 19, 2024. "Vivian" as she was known by many was the 14th child of 15 children born to the union of the late Paymon and Minerva (nee. Thompson) Grant.
She was a Central High School Alumni, faithful member of New Life Church of God, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post#148 and retiree of General Electric/BAE Systems with over 40 years of service. She enjoyed interior design and clothing fashion designs by Ellen Tracy and Dana Buchman. Most memorable, she had fun engaging in fashion dress-up activities with her granddaughters, Janaye, Alexia and Aniyah.
Her gracefulness and quiet spirit we will always be cherished as we remember many other attributes and characteristics of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.
Vivian's legacy will continue with her sons, Ross (Camilla) Grant and Quinton Grant; grandchildren, Janaye Grant, Alexia Grant (Zachrie Ashby) and Aniyah Grant; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Tabitha Grant, Rosalie Chandler, Beverly Toles, Catherine Taye; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Fredric Kearnes; sisters, Airlean Hutchins, Anna Chaney, Callie Wimberly and Essie Grant-Kurtz; brothers, James, Felix, Roger, Thomas, Ulysses and Hardy Grant.
