Rex McLaughlin, 66 of Fort Wayne, died in peace on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Parkview Hospital. He was the born to the late Richard and Mary Lou McLaughlin on July 16, 1948. Rex served proudly in the army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife Rose McLaughlin; daughters Janet Morris, Diane Kurtz and Connie Smith; brothers Donald (Becky) Bechtol, Daniel (Sybil) McLaughlin and Robert Deck and several grandchildren, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home 1327 N. Wells St. on Friday January 23, at 10 am with calling 1 hour prior. Calling will be at the funeral home on Thursday, January 22 from 4-7pm. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
