I have fond memories of the fun times we shared with your father (and your mother), when my late husband, Dale, and I would get together with them in Florida and Ft Wayne. Just found out today that your dad died Beth and Diane. So sorry to hear, my sympathy to all of you. My parents are in Florida but want to extend their sympathy too. We all enjoyed and fell fortunate to have known your mom and dad.

Uncle Dick was a warm, loving and hard working man who had a twinkle in his eyes when he smiled at you. He loved his family with his whole heart. Rest in peace  Uncle Dick. Oh, and say hello to all our loved ones in heaven.

Mary and I relish the years of friendship we had with  our next door neighbors, the Beards. The memories of those "backyard" visits will remain in our hearts forever.  We will miss them.

Our Sympathy is extended to Beard family,  We are sorry we never got out to Lutheran Life Villages to visit him due to our own problems,  We feel like some of the other friends of Barb and Dick's,  We did a lot of shopping at the nursery and talking to Barb while Dick was out working.  We still don't know how he healed all those plants in every fall.   We began shoppping there in 1971, he also planted trees for us.  Now we live in Kensingtonb Down and enjoyed sitting on his patio or fornt porch talking to him,  God bless you all,

For many years, one of my favorite past times was to visit Beard's Nursery to shop and catch up with Dick and Barb.  It was a joy to get to know them.  I'm so sorry for your loss but am smiling at the thought of your parents being together again. My deepest condolences.
