Richard Lewis Beeler, 84, passed away November 30, 2023 at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born December 14, 1938 in Huntington, IN, the son of the late Russell H. and Edith L. Beeler. He graduated from Huntington North High School. He was a proud US Navy Veteran and served from 1955-1959. Richard was a Quality Inspector at Zollner Piston for 37 years and retired in 2001. He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church.
Richard is survived by his children, Cherie R. (Dave) Mason, of Spencerville, IN; Anthony R. Beeler, Shannon M. Beeler, Tracy L. Hacker all of Fort Wayne, IN; 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and daughter in law, Susan DeFrain. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Therese Beeler February 23, 1997, son Paul K. DeFrain, siblings, Paul W. Beeler, Donald D. Beeler, and Janet S. Larkey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM Saturday, December 9, 2023, at St. Vincent Catholic Church 1502 E. Wallen Road Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
