Richard Harold “Dick” Gick, 78 passed away Wednesday July 7, 2021 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born July 13, 1942 in Fort Wayne to the late Harold and Velma Gick. Richard graduated from Central High School in 1960 and completed the apprentice program at General Electric. He was a tool and die maker at General Electric for 37 years. Richard was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club, Ft. Wayne Ice Skating Club, and Ft. Wayne Turners.
He is survived by his daughters Tina M. (Randy) Ward of Gypsum CO; Tammy L. (Larry) Gick-Davis, brother Robert A. Gick, sister Ann Saylor all of Fort Wayne, IN; and four grand dogs. Richard was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Gick in 1997.
Funeral Service will be 10 am Wednesday July 14, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne IN, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also Tuesday July 13, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
