Richard E. "Dick" Good, Sr., 98, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Dick was born on May 22, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Daniel "Ray" and Mary Pauline (Gee) Good. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He spent more than 30 years driving truck for Kroger before retiring in 1983. After retiring, Dick worked as a retirement community manager in Bradenton, Florida. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and sitting and watching traffic. Surviving family include his children, Pamela (Robert) Rynders, Carol (Gary) Covey, Debra (James) Helmke, William (Pilar) Good, and Richard Good II; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter; and daughter-in-law, Rosanne Good. Besides his parents, Dick was preceded in passing by his wife, Lucille Good; children, Terry Good, Patricia Murphy, Gary Good; a grandson; and siblings, Barbara, Max, William, and Meda. Funeral service will be 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials in Dick's memory may be made to Honor Flight Northeast Indiana or Humane Fort Wayne.
