Born 10/9/45 Died 12/15/20
One of the original faces of the March of Dimes Polio outreach and fundraising effort. He survived into adulthood only to be injured in a manufacturing accident, which led to mobility issues for the rest of his life which he persevered through. His strength and tenacity were hallmarks of the way he lived his life and raised his children to never give up and to always try your hardest, even when life proves difficult.
An avid reader, he enjoyed all genres, from science fiction and historical to recently rereading the bible.
His love of cars led to him being an encyclopedia of old car trivia that he loved to share and to watch car auctions and reminisce about seeing and driving some of the classic cars from his youth.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Patricia. His two sons Steve and Richard, two daughters Jayne and Jennifer, and daughter in law Sally. Three grandchildren Jonathan, Timothy, and Stephanie, one great grandchild Seraphim, his brother Sidney and sister in law Karen.
He was loved very much and will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky to have had him in their lives.
