RICK McCORMICK, 53, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, April 13, 2015. Born Nov. 1, 1961, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of Shirley (Hyde) and the late Richard P. McCormick. He worked in construction. He enjoyed working on cars, rabbit/coon hunting, NASCAR and Jimmie Johnson. "He was a hard worker, go to guy, and loved being a grandpa!" Also surviving are his children, Justin (Amber) McCormick, Jason (Breezy) Brock, Jeffery, Tara and Whitney McCormick; sister, Lisa (Brian) Kolbasky; brother, Adam McCormick; 24 grandchildren; and grandmothers, Freda Hyde and Betty Hyde. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Tressa; a brother; a sister; and two grandchildren. Funeral service is 7 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N.
