Rita E. McClellan, 66, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at her residence in Kimmell, Indiana. She was born in Bremerhaven, Germany to the late Erik and Hilda Meier. She married Jerry McClellan January 23, 1969 and he survives. She was the gardening and canning queen and enjoyed bingo. Above all else she loved her family. Surviving are her children, Patrick (Lisa) McClellan, Brian McClellan, Theresa (Chad) Rice, and Melissa (Daniel) Martin; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her brother, Klaus Meier; and her aunt, Gertrude Chelski. Funeral service 11:00 am Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home with one hour of calling prior to the service.
