Robert F. Biggs

Robert “Bob” F. Biggs, 93, passed away on Wednesday May 11, 2016. Robert was born to the late Wayne and Amy Biggs on January 26, 1923 in Paulding, OH. Bob was a 50 year member of Sheet Metal Workers Local No. 20 retiring in 1985 from Krouse Sheet Metal as an estimator. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 155 for many years. He was a former manager of Elks little league team and president of the Fraternal Little League. He was the original owner of North Side Bait, Inc. he was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman. Bob especially enjoyed his retirement years at Houghton Lake, Michigan. He is survived by his son Tom (Jean) Biggs; daughter Kay (Ken) McCloskey of Pensacola, FL; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Catherine Biggs and younger brothers Tom, Fred and Jack Biggs. Funeral service will be at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home 1327 North Wells St. on Monday May 23, 2016 at 11am with calling 1 hour prior. Memorials to the ARC of Northeast Indiana. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
