He was a 2013 graduate of Canterbury High School. Robby earned his bachelor's degree in Geology in 2017 from Whitman College. He loved being close to nature whether it was digging up dinosaur bones, exploring a National Park, hiking the trails around his beloved Big Moose Lake, or feeling the rock he had selected from his collection to carry in his pocket that day. He was a talented musician, a lover of board games, and cherished family traditions especially at Christmas and Big Moose Lake.
Surviving are his parents; siblings, Daniel Brothers and Michael Brothers; grandmother Adele Ramsey; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends he considered family. He was also preceded in death by sister, Theresa Brothers; grandparents, John and Edith Matthews, and Paul Brothers. Mass of Christian Burial at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with calling from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. prior to Mass. Visitation also from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home.
Any interested musicians are invited to share their gifts of music in remembrance of Robby one hour prior to the Mass. An accompanist will be provided.
