Robert Michael Hale

Robert Michael Hale, 71, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his home. He was born September 9, 1948 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was the son of the late Paul and Patricia Hale. He was a 1966 graduate of Elmhurst High School, and attended Purdue University Fort Wayne where he received his degree in Engineering. He worked for General Electric for many years, and then worked in the tool and die industry for many years throughout the Fort Wayne area. He was a avid bowler and golfer. Achieving much success in both sports, including his “perfect 300 game”. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Jim) Goelz of Huntington and Jennifer Hershman of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Damon Goelz, Devon Goelz, Dairian Goelz, Alyssa Biddle, Brandon Hershman, Jayden Hershman, Caleb Hershman, and Mason Hershman; great grandchildren, Novah and Oliviana; brothers, Gary Hale, Denny Hale, and Kevin (Donna) Hale, all of Fort Wayne; close dear friend, Laura "Dusty" Speaker; and beloved dogs Sparky and Charlie. A time of visiting and sharing will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Wearing of masks is encouraged, but not required. Memorials be made in Robert’s honor to the Allen County S.P.C.A.
