IN THE CARE OF
Greenlawn Funeral Home
Robert Rudolph “Bob” Kaiser, 87, fearlessly left this world on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Born in 1928 in Fort Wayne to the late William H. and Helen Kaiser, Bob graduated from South Side High School and obtained an arts degree from Ft. Wayne Art School. He served in the Army during the Korean War. As a commercial artist, he used his creativity daily in his 42 year work life with Lincoln Printing Corp. He will always be remembered for his love of jazz music and love of kites (both making and flying) as well as his ability to carve a block of wood or hunk of Styrofoam into unbelievable pieces of art. He enjoyed working in his yard, loved his zero turn mover, and gardening. Of all things in life, he treasured spending time with his three grandchildren. Surviving are his son, William T. Kaiser and daughter, Ann E. (Troy) Nix. He was preceded in passing by his wife of nearly 60 years, Mary Jane. Funeral service will be 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne with a gathering of friends and family starting at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
