Robert Douglas Knox, 61, of Fort Wayne, lost his battle with Leukemia on Monday, September 29, 2014 at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on December 6, 1952 in Fort Wayne; IN. Robert was a member of Good Shepherd Methodist Church. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Jo Ann Knox; brother, Brian (Cris) Knox; sister, Brenda (Philip) Pion; nephews, Jeremy and Eron and nieces, Stephaine and Alisha. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Edith Knox and Rollin and Charlotte Briggs. Funeral service will be at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home at 1327 N. Wells St. on October 6, 2014 at 7pm with calling 2 hours prior. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to the VA Hospital of Fort Wayne.
