

Bob was born on March 22, 1949, in New Ulm, Minnesota to the late Frederick Louis and Winifred C. (Davey) Nieno.
Bob was a proud graduate of New Haven High School, Class of 1967. Bob met the love of his life, Roxann Johnston in 1986. The couple married on October 25, 1992.
Bob had a lifelong passion for hot rods and motorcycles, finding joy in the craftsmanship, freedom, and camaraderie they brought. Whether he was under the hood of a classic car or out on the open road, he was happiest with grease on his hands and the rumble of an engine nearby.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Roxann Nieno of New Haven, Indiana; his son Fred A. (Kristin) Nieno of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his daughter Jennifer (Jenny) M. Nieno of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his step-daughter Jennifer ‘Jeni’ J. (Brian) Fuelling of New Haven, Indiana; & his step-son Brian A. Johnston of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Bob also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Anthony ‘Tony’ Nieno, Tyler (Chaise) Fuelling, Dayanaira (Justin Grapengeter) Hower, Ryan Fuelling, Brianna Johnston, Jacob Fuelling, Blake Cross, Robert ‘Bo’ Nieno, & Bryce Nieno; as well as two great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include sisters Jan (Mark) Martin of Bloomington; Kay (Kim) High of Springboro, Ohio; Meg Ashba of Bloomington; & his brother Richard F. Nieno of Garrett; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Brother-in-law, Mark Ashba and Michael Martin; and his nephew, Elijah Ashba.
A private service for immediate family only will be conducted as scheduled by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home. Bob’s final resting place will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
Memorial contributions in Bob’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
