Robert Roy Wood, 52, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was born December 4, 1968 in Fort Wayne, son to Allen and Roberta (Tipton) Wood. Robert was a graduate of Northrup High School and had worked for Evans Toyota for 29 years. He attended 1st Baptist Church of Ossian and knew the Lord as his Savior. He was a loving child and will be missed his by family, co-workers, and friends, including his life long best friend Brett Staton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Laurie Ann (Albert) Jackson; and several cousins. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be Monday, March 15, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
