Roberta Horne Archer passed away January 5, 2022 at her home. Roberta was born April 27, 1942 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Roberta’s lifetime dedication to learning and helping others led her to pursue careers in multiple fields including teaching, social work, and her final occupation as a Nurse of St. Joseph Hospital. Roberta's greatest pastime was spending time with her family at her beloved cottage in South Haven, Michigan.
She is survived by her sons, William H. (Norine) Martin of Denver, Colorado, John M. Martin of Fort Wayne Indiana; grandchildren Caroline, Nelson, Harrison, Carson and Madison Martin, and brother Ted (Patti) Horne.
She was preceded in death by her husband John W. and son Joseph Archer.
Private family services. Memorials may be made to Indiana Wildlife Federation as a tribute to Roberta’s deep love and admiration for nature.
