Roberta Lynn (Tipton) Wood, 75, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed on June 11, 2026. She was born on August 21, 1950, in Fort Wayne, daughter of the late Robert Tipton and Jane (Love) Sattison. Roberta was a member of First Baptist Church of Ossian for several years. She enjoyed going shopping at Walmart, watching tv, and being around dogs and babies. Most of all she enjoyed going on dates with her husband and spending time with friends and family. Roberta is survived by her husband of over 59 years, Allen Wood; daughter, Laurie (Albert) Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death her son, Robert Roy Wood; sister, Donna (Michael) Mitchell; and brother, John Tipton. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ossian.
