Rodney J. Reilley, 70, passed away January 15, 2024 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born January 22, 1953 in Huntington, IN, the son of the late Jack Frederick and Carolyn Reilley, whom survives.
Rodney was a truck driver for Wayne Asphalt for 9 years and then in 1977 started RG and J Lawn and Landscaping, which is still owned by the family.
He was a Nascar fan, enjoyed his hot rods, race cars, snowmobile trips with friends, spending time at the lake with the family and grandkids. He dearly loved his family.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gayla Reilley of Fort Wayne, IN; son Jeremy (Kimberly) Reilley, brother, Kim (Beth) Reilley, sister, Tonya (Andy) Stabler, all of Fort Wayne, IN; grandson Ean (Hailey) Reilley of Fort Wayne, IN; granddaughter, Delaney Reilley of Fort Worth Dallas, TX; 1 niece and 3 nephews.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Sunday January 21, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home 8325 Covington Road Fort Wayne, IN, visitation 2 hours prior. Memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson Research and Stillwater Hospice.
