Ronald Joseph Griesinger

Ronald Joseph Griesinger, 54, passed away on October 4, 2026. Ron was a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born November 11, 1971. On November 9, 2002, he married Wendy Kruse, who also became his life-long friend.

Through a life marked by steady work, quiet integrity, and deep devotion to those he loved, Ron earned the trust of many and the affection of all who truly knew him. He worked at Warner Electric, where his reliability and honest character were evident in the way he carried responsibility and showed up for others. Thoughtful in the ways that mattered most, he gave of himself without fanfare—loyal, selfless, and constant in his care.

Ron found joy in simple, meaningful moments: online gaming, fishing, and cooking his signature dish, “chicken parmesan.” He treasured long phone calls with ShyAnn and walks with Shannan—everyday routines that reflected how fully his family remained at the center of his heart. A proud and deeply family-oriented man, his children were his world. Including his family and friends, he was proud of his Lutheran faith in Christ.

Ron is survived by his daughter, ShyAnn Griesinger of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his daughter, Shannan Griesinger of Fort Wayne, IN; his ex-wife and longtime friend, Wendy Kruse of Fort Wayne, IN;

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Griesinger of Rochester, IN, and his son, Shane Kruse of Toledo, OH.
