Ronald H. Robinson, born May 4, 1960 to Emmett & Cora Robinson Jr. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan, with no interceptions and made a final touchdown September 17, 2021. He’s shouting, “How Bout Dem Cowboys!” Ronald was affectionately known as Ron by family and friends. To know him was to love him. Ron accepted Christ at an early age at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles E. Trigg. He sung Tenor in the Young Adult Choir “The Chariots”. His favorite song he did by James Cleveland and the Charles Fold Singers was On the Battlefield. He loved old great gospel music. Ron graduated from R. Nelson Snider in 1978 and attended Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. Ron worked several jobs, Parkview Hospital and decided to change careers and started working in CNC Machining, which led him to work abroad in Malaysia for one year and learned a very different culture. He was employed at Faurecia Manufacturer in the PC & L department Fort Wayne, IN. The greatest JOY in his life was having his one & only son Ronald J. Davis, whom he loved dearly.
He leaves to cherish his memories are his son, Ronald J. Davis of San Antonio, TX, mother, Cora L. Robinson; brothers Emmitt III, Clarence (Brigitte) Robinson, Sister Tempa (Ronnie) Fowlkes. Nieces, Ronysha, Bianca, & Roni Fowlkes. Nephews Emmitt Finan, Clarence (Sierra) Tubbs, Eric Finan, Allen Robinson. Great nieces, Genesis, December, Raya, Noelle. One great nephew Carter Tubbs. All his family, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Special friend Cassandra Rogers. A giant host of friends, he loved everybody! Preceded in death by father Emmett Robinson Jr. Oldest brother William Robinson. Paternal grandparents Emmitt & Tempie Lee Robinson. Maternal Grandparents Ex & Eva Trigg.
Funeral service will be 10:30am Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Kingdom Door Worship Center 1004 E. Pontiac St. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 6 –8 pm Friday September 24, 2021 at the church. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by D. O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN.
