Ronald F. Shady Sr.

Ronald F. Shady Sr., 96, passed away, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at his residence in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Oscar and Josephine Shady. He was a graduate of Central High School and Purdue University where he received his degree in agriculture. He served honorably in the United States Army as Private First Class during WWII and was a member of the American Legion, post #47. He was a sales person and part owner of Barnet Janitor’s Supply for 12 years, retiring in 1984. Above all he was a loyal husband and father. Surviving are his children, Christine Shady and Ronald F. Shady Jr. Ronald was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen J. Shady, an angel on this earth, and three brothers. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
