Ronald James Wilks, 78, passed on September 13, 2026 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on August 21, 1948, in Hicksville, Ohio to the late James Wilks and Zelma (Donley) Lysher.

Ron will be remembered as a nice, quiet man who loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his two half-sisters, Edna Stein and Wilma Smith; and various nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Ronald is preceded in passing by the love of his life, Janice Wilks; and his sister Rosella Loucks.

A funeral service will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804, on September 22, 2026, at 1:30 pm, with visitation an hour prior.
