Rosalie Catherine Barhydt, 94 passed away June 25, 2024, at her home in Huntertown, IN. She was born April 25, 1930, in Blue Island, IL, the daughter of Frank and Rose A. Gross. She graduated from Blue Island High School in 1947.
Rosalie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Cynthia) Barhydt Jr. of Grabill, IN; Jeff (Beth) Barhydt of Fremont, IN; Karen (Barry) Wynkoop of Fort Wayne, IN; Scott Barhydt of Fort Wayne, IN; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth M, Barhydt Sr.; daughter-in-law, Laurie Barhydt; and granddaughter, Danielle Barhydt.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am -11:00 am Monday July 1, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Burial and Committal service immediately following at Highland Park Cemetery.
