Rose M. Uecker, 77, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Covington Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late August J and Teresa Uecker. Rose worked in medical records and the medical staff office with Lutheran Hospital for over 30 years. She was a former member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, where she was active in the choir and taught religious education for several years. Surviving are her brother, James T. (Virginia) Uecker of Fort Wayne, IN: sisters, Rita A. (James) Gloer of Fremont, OH; Dolores C. Schuhler of Fort Wayne, IN; Teresa A. (Joseph) Lucas of Bensalem, PA; Barbara L. (Alan) LaCombe of Pioneer, OH; Cecilia "Betsy" Uecker of Fort Wayne, IN; Clare M. Powell of Sacramento, CA. Rose was preceded in death by her, brothers, Francis and Donald Uecker, sister, Mary M. Dague. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 am Wednesday, April, 11, 2018 at St. Peter Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 3-7 pm Tuesday with Rosary at 6 pm. at D.O.
