I am so thankful for the opportunity to have met Mrs. Elizabeth Rosemary George. She would give me advice about relationships and marriage. She was an example of a virtuous woman. I feel blessed to be able to call her grandma. I could never find it in me to call her Mrs. George. She made me feel like I was actually a part of her family. Love Always, Bridget.

I look back at all the fond memories from childhood and one of the best is getting to work at my grandparents candy store from time to time as a young child through the 1979’s. I recall getting up early as a 7,8,9 year old on vacation from school and getting to work with grandpa and grandma at their candy store. Refilling large barrels of different candies, restocking bags, boxes, cups, and knick knacks; helping make caramel apples, refilling tubs of ice cream all before customers got there. Then when we opened up for business, helping customers get their items, restocking as needed and getting to run the register when I was old enough. I got paid in candy, what better job could there have been for a young preteen.
