

Roxanna Foulks, 97, of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. She was born on July 7, 1924 in Glenmore, Ohio, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mildred (Dull) McConkey. Roxanna graduated from Northside High School in 1943. In her earlier years, she worked at General Electric, she also worked at L.S. Ayres, but mainly worked as a homemaker caring for her home and family. She was a long time member of the former Faith Missionary Church, Fort Wayne serving in a number of roles including Sunday school teacher and treasurer. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and reading. Surviving family include her daughters, Barbara Moody, Deborah (Rickey) Beyhan, Rebecca (David) Cooper; grandchildren, Dennis (Jan) Ruff, Theresa (Randy) Prentice, Mark (Nancy) Beyhan, Aimee (Blake) Young, Dr. Michael (Beth Stebner) Cooper; six great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Glen R. Foulks; brother, Edward “Abe” McConkey; and son-in-law, David Moody. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with a visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Community Harvest Food Bank, Fort Wayne.
